special 3D curves on it with Engraving.
In the past we would have had to have sub-contracted
this work out, but thanks to the
Bob CAD CAM software we were able to
create all the 3D curves with skins
on and generate programs for them,
and also cut the necessary engraving
for this type of work. We have just completed
the job, and have found the shut off zones in the plastic
to be absolutely perfect.
In fact, in my 25 year career, I've
never had these shut-off zones so
good. We are ecstatic with the results
and very excited with our BobCAD

I just returned from the training seminar in St Louis. Wow, Sorin's knowledge relating to the application of cad / cam was way higher than I expected. With such a wide range of experience among the students, the job of equally raising the level of aptitude for each individual would be a great challenge from any teachers viewpoint. In my work I spend a couple of hours a day on the computer. However, it was only a couple of years ago before I even learned to turn one on. My own skills were probably somewhere in the middle of the students present.
